About Me
Hi i’m Varun!
I’m passionate about animation and design. Animation has always held a special place in my heart, serving as a bridge between imagination and reality.
My academic journey began with a Bachelor’s in Computer Science Engineering, where I developed a strong foundation in programming, problem-solving, and the application of technology to real-world challenges.
Despite my technical achievements, I still found myself yearning for a field that is more creative. I have always fantasized about different stories, characters, and plotlines and thought to myself, wouldn’t it be great to bring these things to reality. This realization led me to explore animation.
My works include 2d animations, Stop motion, sketches, storyboarding and much more.
Stop Motion
This project started with an idea to make an adventure story. I wanted to combine my animation and crochet skills together. Stop motion was the answer for this. I started by sketching my storyboard.
Pre Production
Once my storyboard was done I decided to make a rough animation of my story. This gave me a better idea of how my story would look.
Model Making
Once I was happy with the different shots I decided on making my character models. I used crochet to make all my models.
Final Video
Once my models were ready I used the stop motion studio app to film my scenes.
Mini Project
Here is a mini stop motion project I worked on. I mainly wanted to showcase the clothes I made for barbie.
